What's a Pay account?

Do I have to have an OKX exchange account to have a Pay account?
Yes, an OKX exchange account and a completion of identity verification are required to create a Pay account.
What can I do with my Pay account?
- Pay your contacts (friends and family) with USDC or USDT in Pay. 
- Receive USDC or USDT sent to your smart wallet and use it to pay others. 
- Easily transfer USDC or USDT from your Pay balance to your Exchange balance and vice-versa. 
- Send and receive USDC or USDT on-chain through X Layer, Ethereum, TRON and many other networks. 
 Note: on-chain transactions require a network fee to be paid in the network's native crypto.
How can I recover my Pay account?
- You can easily sync your passkeys using a cloud backup through iCloud (iOS) or Google Password Manager (Android). 
- If the cloud backup isn’t available, you can reach out to our customer support team to recover your passkey (Pay account). 
How do I set up my Pay account?
Setting up your Pay account is simple. There is a quick onboarding process within Pay, you can set it up by generating a passkey on your device — it's quick and secure.
