As a Vietnamese customer, I am writing to express my strong disappointment and concern regarding your recent announcement to cancel all SuiPlay orders from Vietnam.
Based on my observation, several users in Vietnam successfully received the first batch of devices after overcoming initial customs-related issues, with the assistance of local customs officers. This clearly demonstrates that delivery to Vietnam is feasible. Therefore, your decision to cancel all remaining orders from Vietnamese customers appears premature and unjustified.
I firmly disagree with your request to cancel my order and issue a refund. I respectfully request that you proceed with delivery as originally promised in November.
Furthermore, I strongly urge SuiPlay to reopen the “Update Shipping Address” feature, enabling users to modify their delivery location to another country (other than Vietnam) if necessary. This simple solution would allow users to continue receiving their products without further logistical complications.
If Sui unilaterally cancels all Vietnamese orders without offering a reasonable alternative, such an action will significantly damage the credibility and reputation of both Sui and Mysten Labs in the global community. Upholding your commitments and respecting your customers will reflect the integrity and professionalism expected from a project of your scale.
I am willing to take full legal responsibility for my order with the appropriate authorities. I sincerely hope that you will reconsider your position, reopen the address update portal, and proceed with shipment according to users’ updated instructions.
